Hi all,
Yikes...as the title says, tmw is the last day of 2011. I can't believe it!!! The year sure went by fast.
What are you planning to do to celebrate in the new Year tmw night?? :) i'm staying home w/ mi family...and we're prolly going to watch movies and *hopefully* eat junk food ;) lol.
I had a lot of fun w/ my cousins 2 days ago- my siblings had a game night which I only participated in for a bit but I mostly stayed in my room. Most of the guests didn't leave till around 1 O_o my cousins stayed overnight so after the others left, we (my cousins, L, B and I) ended up watching Mont.e Car.lo (which was good, I liked it.) and didn't go to bed till like after 3:30...yup we were up pretty late :D But it was fun! we slept in till like 10. my cousins and I were like very tired and totally out of it. lol. We went for a walk after brunch to the lake. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad that we got to go for a walk which was my cousin's idea. it was good exercise and fun.
This year has been a pretty good and for the first time, really busy this past spring-now. I normally wasn't that busy. But I guess since I'm getting older I get busier. LOL.
My year also has its ups and downs...
I can't really remember nor record everything.
I started working out this past spring and summer and actually lost some weight.
Some downs- I'd rather forget about it...there were 2 summer camps that I was hoping to go and saved up for but the first one i wanted to go so bad- I ended up not going because I couldn't find and get a ride. :(
and the 2nd one...i waited too long and it was too late to register.
my sisters went to a summer camp for 5-day club training and it was the first time that I was in charge for more than 1 week w/out my sisters. It was pretty weird. But we survived, thankfully. ;)
Well...I'm looking forward to a new year...especially because:
1. I plan to really start working on being healthy. But I need help to keep myself accountable and just really keep the focus on it.
2. I'm determined to FINISH and GRADUATE from high school. I've been behind too long and I wanna to be done with high school!! Esp. since I want to find another job. I don't mind working for my aunt but right now I'm ready to do something else. But we'll see if that is in God's plans.
3. I plan to save up for real, esp. because I'm determined to go to the camps and hopefully help pay for family vacation since I missed it soo much, since we didn't go this year.
4. I'm going to TRY to read God's word every day. And write in my journal. I really need to make it a habit. And try to learn more about God and get closer in my relationship w/ Him.
5. I plan to try to start weaving more often and hopefully maybe start my own business? We'll see...............
6. I'll TRY to post my blog at least once a week but it depends on how each week goes and if I can go on the computer. I can't wait to get a laptop someday. But right now I'm saving up for a new digital camera because I really need a new one!
And many more plans/goals/hopes.

I'm glad and thankful to be able to hear music esp. at Christmastime :) looking forward to listening to the music tmw evening (which will sound much better than when I first wore it 2 years ago)

So much for posting on Wednesday...ended up staying another night at my aunt's because the last batch of the truffles took longer than I thought to harden :P But now that's over and I finally got to use the computer right now :)

Is your Christmas tree up?
YES! :D We got it last Saturday (the 10th)and decorated it. We could've gotten it sooner but everyone was busy so it didn't work out.
How about the rest of your decorations?
My siblings put up the rest of the decorations while I was at my aunt's so yes they're up too. I'm working on decorating my room too-finally got my little Christmas tree up :)
Do you have an artificial tree or a real tree?
Real, ofc!!! Fake is not as much fun and no scent. I LOVE the smell of pine tree.
Do you have any lights or decorations outside?
We used to many years ago- but no. Wish we do tho.
Do you have a favorite ornament on the tree?
Hmm...I have too many. :P Sorry I can't just pick one but one of them is a Precious Moment ornament with my birth year on it...each of us kids except for Sam had one. We didn't put them up till 1-2 years ago because before then we had cats and don't want to have them break. :-S
How many Christmas trees do you usually have up?
One (also 2-3...Sam, Maribeth and I all have our own little fake trees for our room)
What is the best Christmas present you have ever gotten?
*sigh* hard to choose...I hate choosing a favorite when there's many. Hmm....last year I think it was probably...some of the Ludys books (i think i got 2 last year?) from my sisters, portable cd player from my grandparents, Celtic Woman Songs from the Heart CD, and 1-3 years ago one of my top favorite gifts was a warp board that my cousin Tim made for me. :)
Who do you celebrate Christmas with?
Basically my mom's side of the family on Christmas Eve at my grandparents' house and friends at church, then Christmas Day just w/ my family. Then later around New Years day or before we celebrate w/ my dad's side of family.
What is your favorite Christmas song?
I don't have a favorite because there is too many... :P
Silent Night, Away in a Manager, Green the whole year 'round, Drummer Boy, White Christmas, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (idk if i got the title right?)and MANY more!! I like basically them all.
What is your favorite Christmas food?
*sigh* I have too many favorites...I think my Grandma P's ham and her cookies...and fudge, truffles, and many others.
What is your favorite Christmas memory?
Again, I have too many. I think one of my favorites was when we used to do the Christmas play with my cousins at my grandparents' house when we were young. Now there's a new memory that I like- my Grandma G started it a couple of years ago- we do a Left and Right game. It's fun. :)
Again as i say before, there are many more but I can't list them all.
Do you have trouble falling asleep on Christmas eve?
No.
What time do you usually wake up on Christmas morning?
When it's not on a Sunday, I THINK around 8-9? Depends how late we get home from my grandparents' house.
Do you do any special traditions for Christmas?
Plenty...the Left and Right game, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus w/ a cake, and just spending time w/ my family and relatives at my grandparents' house.
When we decorate our Christmas tree we always listen/watch to A Celtic Woman Christmas Celebration. http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
On Christmas Day we always watch Christmas movies(It's a Wonderful Life, A White Christmas, The Holiday Inn, and many more I think) after opening presents and just have fun as a family. :)

I finally finished the rugs and finished up hemming all of them this past week. :)
The first 2 pics of the rug is for my brothers' room, the 2nd rug (3rd pic) is for the laundry room, and the 4th rug (last pic) is probably for the upstairs hall even tho we have carpet upstairs.
I can't believe it's only 6 days till Christmas!! :D What are you planning to do for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? :)
I better get going. Will try to update before Christmas. This coming week is going to be kinda insane and fun. :) :P
PLEASE pray for L, B and I this coming week...we have a midterm test coming up on Thursday for Western Civilization. :P FUN! not. I'm trying to focus on studying for the test even tho I don't need/want to. We all have a busy week ahead so hopefully we will have time to study.

12 DAYS LEFT TILL CHRISTMAS EVE!!
this is short- I'll do a real update along w/ Christmas tag that Rachel tagged me in...hopefully sometime tmw or Wednesday. but im at my aunts for today n tmw to make truffles P-: and work too, ofc.
I'm super excited about Christmas!!!! :D
just wanna say- i FINALLY got the rugs off the loom (since im finished w/ 'em) and so far the boys' rug is finally hemmed and in their room :D
now im working on sewing the ends of the last 2 rugs then finally start working on a Christmas present which i hope to finish before Christmas Eve.
Gretchen- ill post pics of the rugs when i can, ok? :) btw yes Christmas is coming up fast!!

I'm doing well just busy with school and work. Just got home from work- did a LOT of sanding on windows for my aunt yesterday and today :P at least its finally over :D now only painting and cleaning left to do before Christmas.

Its December 2nd...23 days till CHRISTMAS!!
This is short... im updating from my phone, so i wont make this too long hopefully.
Im doing alright so far- school is o.k. but im behind in chemistry which is not good :P but im trying to get caught up.
every week now always have at least something going on. work, GNC, school, and sometimes fun activites.
im looking forward to tmw because im volunteering at an Winter Wonderland for deaf and hard of hearing families :) my first time to do it.
sunday- B and i r going to the other church again for service then a Christmas party afterwards. im looking forward to seein my friends again :)
then im going to my grandmas house to watch the packer game and help her decorate her Christmas tree :)
rest of week ill b busy doing school, work, shopping, and weaving. busy busy busy...
sorry this is boring and im not always interesting but oh well.

it's November...already?!?
Hi all!
I can't believe it's November already and Thanksgiving is coming up fast- only less than 2 weeks to go!! I'm looking forward to seeing my family relatives when they come for Thanksgiving at our house :D This year it will be a big crowd because both sides of our relatives are coming but not ALL of them, tho.
BTW- today is 11/11/11 if anyone notices ;) Pretty cool, huh?
I'm doing alright lately- but still behind in chemistry but i'm hoping to get caught up today and this weekend. I have a cold- which is sooo much fun :P not. But the cold/flu season is here so i may as well accept it. Just not much fun esp when i want to smell Fall/Christmas things.
We had our first snowfall on Wednesday for a couple of min/hours then more yesterday but it didn't stick around, thankfully. I'M NOT READY FOR SNOW YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping/wishing it won't snow till December or at least after Thanksgiving. But it's WI after all :P LOL
This week was kinda busy as always-
Sunday- I went to the other church again and really enjoyed it and seeing some friends again :) Then met my family for lunch at Culv.ers then we went to my grandma's house for the Packer game- which THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-0!!! they remain undefeated!! WOOHOO. it was a good/close call game!!!
Monday- Ben and I worked for our aunt- it was a beautiful day. I raked the leaves, did some cutting on plants and helped my aunt finish up cleaning her garage- it's finally clean!! she can actually park her car in it now :)
Tuesday- Bible study with my sisters- it was good...as always. Then Maribeth had a friend over for lunch and hang out with her.
Wednesday- Good News Club as always! Our oven is still broken :P dad finally ordered the part he needed for it tho so hopefully by next week it will be fixed! So anyways i couldn't make a treat since we don't have the oven. GNC went well as always. Then afterwards we went to our church for The Truth Project- another good lesson as always :) but this time it was 2-part lesson so we have to wait for 2 weeks to watch the 2nd part!!!!!!! UGH. :P i don't like waiting that long!!!
We have The Truth Project every other Wednesday thats why...
Thursday- my siblings went to friends' house for classes and I stayed home and did school and some other things. Then went and picked my brothers up from the friends' house. Sam and I played some Scrabble then later after dinner M, L, B and I went to Western Civilization class.
Today- chemistry class is later this time- 11:30 instead of 10:30 :D So i have some time to catch up w/ chemistry then B and I r leaving for chemistry. Rest of this afternoon I'll probably be doing school and random stuff. Probably start a Christmas list of who I'm making/buying gifts for. I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't ever guess that I'm a *little* excited about Christmas, can you?!? ;)
I just realized a couple of days ago that it will soon be 2 years since I had my cochlear implant surgery- the day before Thanksgiving (2 years ago)- this year it's the day after Thanksgiving lol. 11/25/09. Then in December it'll be 2 years since I first started hearing sounds with my cochlear implant- couple of days before Christmas Eve and also Ben had his cochlear implant surgery in December.
Wow time sure flies!! I can't believe i had my CI that long now!!!
I best get going...i'm out of things to say... :P
oh...BTW- guess what? I'm going to do a Q&A post sometime so if you have ANY questions please comment and I'll answer them in one of my posts sometimes but I can't answer all personal questions tho.

Rest of this afternoon I'll probably be doing school and random stuff. Probably start a Christmas list of who I'm making/buying gifts for. I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't ever guess that I'm a *little* excited about Christmas, can you?!? ;)
I just realized a couple of days ago that it will soon be 2 years since I had my cochlear implant surgery- the day before Thanksgiving (2 years ago)- this year it's the day after Thanksgiving lol. 11/25/09. Then in December it'll be 2 years since I first started hearing sounds with my cochlear implant- couple of days before Christmas Eve and also Ben had his cochlear implant surgery in December.
Wow time sure flies!! I can't believe i had my CI that long now!!!
I best get going...i'm out of things to say... :P
oh...BTW- guess what? I'm going to do a Q&A post sometime so if you have ANY questions please comment and I'll answer them in one of my posts sometimes but I can't answer all personal questions tho.

IDK what to put up as a title...so this is random
Well...there you go- another post before October is over! WOW!!! ;) LOL
Life has been good- lately we've been really busy. Some good, some bad, etc.
I think God has a sense of humor :P 1-2 weeks ago Ben and I finally got to work for my aunt on 2 days- most of the days before and after the weather was nice. but the 2 days Ben and I worked it had to rain and be windy!!! and we were doing yardwork. What??? LOL. my clothes were dirty and muddy :P
Last weekend my family went to Wyalusing (sp?) and I stayed home and really enjoyed having the house to myself even tho it was kinda scary at nighttime :P LOL esp when i have to take care of the chickens. I visited another church on Sunday since i know some people at another church and there were more deaf there and I really enjoyed it and I'm hoping to go there more often if i can have the car to use. Just kinda stinks that it's kinda far from home :( but i think it'll be worth it since i enjoyed the sermon and fellowship. It was wonderful to see my friends there again.
and after church i went to my grandma's house and watched the Packer game w/ her and Aunt Deb- it was a really good game!!! I'm soo happy the Packers won again!!!! :D it was a close call.
Then this past weekend (which my brothers and Dad just got home 1-2 hours ago) the boys went camping Thurs-Sunday. Us girls had guests over to watch 2 movies on Friday night- one of the movies was well...lets say it was interesting, funny but weird. i doubt i want to watch it again. i forgot the title. then saturday was a really lazy day- didn't really do anything. today- went to church w/ my sisters then they went to a fall hike and i stayed home and cleaned a little around the house since we were having company over later after the hike. right now i'm sure it's crazy downstairs. After i finish this post i'm going to play Rummy with Ben and probably play other games w/ others if i can.
it's wonderful to have all of my family home again! :)
Anyways...I forgot to mention way before in September...I FINALLY finished the rugs that have been staying on my loom for like forever. :) I just need to get them off the loom and cut them apart, sew the ends then put them around our house and finally start a new project :D This time i definitely know not a rug- i'm kinda tired of making rugs. i want to do something different! esp with Christmas around the corner...im hoping if i can figure it out/remember what i need to do to weave for gifts.
I MIGHT post some pics of what i've made so far but we'll seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)
Well i best get going- Ben is waiting for me...

Kinda full week ahead...
Hi all,
I'm doing alright- little better than last time i posted on my blog. But it's still hard sometimes. Of course i don't expect it to be always easy.
Gretchen- thank you very much for your comment on my last blog! It helped me. I didn't think about that- thanks for bringing that to me. And yes I'll accept a hug from u!! Here's one back to you. :)
Life has been kinda busy lately- i have 2 classes that i go to and have reading/homework- it's hard to stay focused on them when i want to do other things instead but I'm trying to not be too behind with the homework. Especially since i really want to be finished with high school. it sometimes feels embarrassing that i'm in my 20s and i'm still in high school :P
Chemistry isn't as bad as i thought- its fun to watch/sometimes do the experiments. but solving the problems (math algebra?) is hard and i hate 'em lol :P but they're not always that bad. Just tough.
Math- UGH.
Reading- good i like reading ;)
Western Civilization- not too bad BUT the chapters r LONG and the book we have for class is big and heavy. :P it's interesting most of the time but sometimes it's hard for me to remember them all!
anyways besides school- im trying to get my room organized and TRYING to work on losing weight- hopefully this weekend i'll be pushing myself to exercise.
Also now GNC (Good News Club) started 2 weeks ago (Oct 5th) and I'm in charge of making the snacks and when i can/am not busy I go along and serve the snacks. But this week Ben and I finally can work for my aunt because our car is FINALLY fixed and passed the emission test!!! Praise the Lord!!! :D it was tough having only one vehicle. So i can't serve the snacks.
Sam, the baby of the family is now a teenager... YIKES. His birthday was on October 4th. Where did the time go?????
I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY FOR THE PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So far they remain undefeated- 6-0 :D GO PACK GO!!!
Well I best get going.
Hopefully y'all will get another update from me before October is over...lol. We'll see ;)

WARNING: Kinda a down vent post...
I really need to vent out sometimes...(if anyone don't like sad and stuff like that posts then don't read any further)
i don't want to offend anyone.
Right now lately I've been feeling left out of conversations around hearing people and my family. Most of the time my family sometimes forget to sign when Ben n i are around and i hate it. before i don't care but now i'm starting to realize that it's hard being deaf.
And most of the people we're around- only few know sign language.
most of my deaf friends either live in different state or live too far, and most of the time they're busy. I rly wish i can move to where there are more deaf people around.
I'm thankful about being deaf sometimes of course but I'm human after all. I hate/love being deaf.
My siblings went to watch Courageous this afternoon w/ friends. (Courageous came out in theaters today) and i was unable to join them because it wasn't being shown w/ CC. That's one of the problems that i really dislike. Most of the time when i want to watch a movie in the theaters w/ friends or w/ my family i can't cuz they don't always have plenty of times w/ CC. Only sometimes show once.
also after they watched the movie, they had friends over to play games and i joined in playing 1 game of 4 on the Couch but it wasn't fun because my sisters keep forgetting to sign (i'm not totally mad at them tho) and i really feel left out so i just stayed in my room and did random stuff. i really wish i already have a laptop but i guess i need to work hard on losing weight (which isn't going well :P)
well i gotta go.

Busy
Hi,
Right now...all i can say is: YUP I'M STILL ALIVE!
i'm busy...busy...busy...busy...need i say more? ;)
I'm really terrible at writing/keeping my blog(s) updated...especially writing in my journal :P But i hope to improve this fall as i'm planning to try to set up a schedule for school and life in general and see how it goes. I plan to include journaling and/or my internet blog. :)
I'll try to give y'all a real post update by September but right now I'm trying to enjoy the rest of my summer especially since it's almost over. :'(
This week has been kinda less busy than i'm used to but i'm thankful to relax right now since I've been really insanely busy the past several months- fun, good and work busy. ;)

This past weekend
Hi all,
I tried to do a blog post on my phone 1-2 days ago...then something happened and i accidentally deleted it :P idk how it happened. So i'm doing this on the computer this time. :P hopefully it won't be accidentally deleted!! lol
This past weekend my family was at a home school convention- our 2nd time gonig. it was wonderful. I learned A LOT. We just got home 2 days ago but I'm still zoned out- i got used to rushing around and being overwhelmed w/ lots of info. but now we're home and it feels weird kinda relaxing again. I miss being there, learning a lot, being inspired by the speakers, and being w/ wonderful friends/interpreters. I really miss it all. Wish it wasn't only 3 days and i really wish i don't live so far away from most of my friends. :(
Eric L.udy was one of the speakers and I really liked his messages. Even tho he speaks LOUD and fast- he's really passionate about Jesus. I didn't like him at first because some things he talked about (aka "yelled") made me feel guilty, impressed, etc. LOL but now I'm looking forward to applying what I learned to my life and try to grow more in Jesus.
Now that i'm back home I'm trying to get back in swing w/ school (I know i'm behind but i'm determined/hoping to try to graduate by fall), work, and things in general.

Need prayers/support
Hi to my readers!
TOO long since i've updated...sorry. :P
Just wanna give y'all a quick update- will do a real one later...right now don't have time.
I just wanna ask y'all to please pray for me. I'm trying to lose weight and so far it's going o.k. but not as well as i hoped since im not pushing myself hard enough.
Right now I set a kinda small goal- to try to lose at least 10 lbs by Easter. So prayers and any support will be appreciated!! Thanks!! :)
I'm doing good w/ school and in general.
